Crystal Reports Crashes after Edit Command

Crystal Reports 10 on my machine crashes every time you attempt to edit a command that has parameters. The edit completes, it prompts for a value for any params in the command, and everything seems ok. But when the 'save button' is pressed, everything crashes.
Solution:
When editing a command, delete all parameters in the command, save command as a valid command with no params, and save report.
Then, add back parameter(s), with any needed edits, save command, and save report.
This may not work if the parameter is used elsewhere in the report.
When entering param values at prompt, be sure to enter string in the format: '1'.
It is also the case that CR will crash if you edit a command which is the only one with a parameter. Try 'modifying' the parameter to rename it, or add another parameterized command.
