Android 2.2.2 Constantly Drops WiFi Connection
I disconnected my android from Verizon and wanted to only use it for WiFi.
However, every time I picked it up, it 'can't connect' and I had to turn WiFi off and on again to get it to work.

It turns out the WiFi advanced settings were turning it off when the phone went to sleep. (to save battery?)

Go to Settings/Wireless and Networks/WiFi Settings and click the 'Menu' button.
Click the 'Advanced' button that pops up.
Open 'Wi-Fi Sleep Policy'
Change to Never.

Now it should work!
