User Interface Disconnect
Great UIX Design requires collaboration between the browser and the web site.
For example:
Why do banking sites "log you out to protect your security", but your browser has saved your credentials so all you need to do is click 'login' again on the logout page?
Both the bank site and the browser think they are doing the user a favor. But the combination of the two just results in wasted time.
