Wordyx - Privacy, Data Security, and Data Collection

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for the Wordyx Application. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this application. It will notify you of the following:

What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information or delete your information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Data submitted via the application will be used for purposes of game play and statistics. It will not be shared with any other party.

You may optionally provide your Email address in the application, if you would like to enable your password to be retrieved if you forget it. The email is not shared nor used for any other purpose. We will not email you or distribute your email except to:
-Respond to your Support request
-Respond to your Password request
-Notify you that your username was deemed offensive and is being renamed

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may view your account information and statistics in the App. You may request to have your data deleted - see Data Collection section below.

Security

No sensitive information is requested or transmitted by this application except your user name, password, and (optional) email address, which are transmitted securely through an encrypted https connection.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data regarding words played and scores is kept for purposes of game rankings. It is not shared nor used for any other purpose.

To request your account, email address, or game history to be deleted or corrected, please use the in-app "Submit Feedback" option in the main menu of the App with a message of what you would like deleted or corrected, or use the delete button on this page or in the App (under "Account Settings") to immediately delete all of your data.

At a delete request:
English Words entered during gameplay are retained indefinitely, but will be unlinked from your account. All other entered data, including account information and statistics will be permanently deleted.

Updates

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page.
